Hello MADling alumni of the 2020 Spring semester, and 2020/21 Fall semester!!
This message is from Michael Gwynne-Thompson who has been organizing the hoodie orders: Custom M.A.D sweatshirts have been in the work for a little while now, and are now available to be ordered! The classes decided on crewneck sweatshirts, aside from regular hoodies this year. The classes also decided that the Spring 2020 semester will have light grey sweaters this year, and the 2020/21 Fall class will have dark green. The M.A.D logo will be embroidered over the heart of the front of the sweater, about a couple inches tall with the year of attendance as well as a name of their choice will be embroidered on the back in white text, about 1 inch tall. We have already collected names and sizes for all students. The sweatshirts will cost $75 and will only be printed for those who have paid. All orders must be placed before Monday July 19 The encouraged payment method is sending an E-transfer to Michael. His email is MichaelGwynneThompson@gmail.com Please reach out to Michael if you have other questions on payment methods The sweaters will hopefully be printed over the summer and be available for pickup at Woodstreet school come the beginning of the school year. Thanks so much

This week we have been working on a series of projects in Social Studies, Drama, English and PE. Students have likely been working from paper copies I have given out on projects, and I will be catching up on putting them up here on the website, as well, with due dates.
MADlings and parents all! Thanks for all the hard work and support over the run of our show, The Winter Tree. It was great to see all the hard work pay off and our audiences have spoken to say they have enjoyed all that you've done to make it a great show. We're moving into the Variety Show, so hopefully with a little MAD magic, we'll entertain you before our students return to their home schools!
Our live calendar now has the tentative dates for applications and such when applying for the Wood Street Programs. There are some dates that may shift as trips and such come into play. We will be doing school visits shortly after the Christmas Break.
Applications at this point are still paper-based, and we do not have an online application for submission. The Guild Hall Theatre, which is on 14th Avenue behind Jack Hulland school in Porter Creek has invited the MAD students to their dress rehearsal of El Crocodor on October 1st. The show starts at 7pm, when doors close, so students are asked to be at the Guild no later than 6:45pm. Either Carolyn or I will be at the Guild for 6:30pm for those who will be a bit early.
Students have a time-dependent assignment the next day! 1. Social Studies has assignments C1 and C2 due tomorrow.
2.Social Studies C3 is due on Friday. (Poster of a PM) 3. Tech Theatre folks need to make sure they complete their maquette, and pass in their lighting plan for their lighting assignment. ![]()
